A native perennial that thrives in our climate. Goldenrod is very important for our local ecosystem. The blooms In late September and October feed migrating monarch butterflies. All pollinators are attracted to the beautiful yellow flowers. Late Goldenrod does grow very tall. 4-6 feet. Very hardy, and thrives in dry hot conditions. Will spread over time.
